This eight-disc set includes classic horror films from the 1930s and 1940s, featuring iconic monsters from Universal Studios. The collection begins with "Dracula" (1931), which stars Bela Lugosi as the bloodsucking count who enmeshes unsuspecting victims in his sinister plans as he travels from his Transylvanian castle to England. The film is directed by Tod Browning and also features Dwight Frye, Helen Chandler, and Edward Van Sloan.

Next up is "Frankenstein" (1931), based on Mary Shelley's novel and featuring Colin Clive as mad scientist Henry Frankenstein.
